Import & export

Bring data in from other apps, and take your data anywhere.

Import

Open Settings → Backup & import, or use the import button on a list or the Tasks page.

CSV tasks — batch-import tasks from spreadsheets or other tools. Download the template, drop your file in, review a preview, untick any rows you don't want, then import.
Markdown — import notes and tasks written in Markdown; formatting is converted automatically. In the note editor you can also paste Markdown and it is converted on the spot, with an Undo.
Full backup — restore a complete backup of your data.

CSV & Markdown — export tasks in portable formats, for everything or for a single list.
Full backup — one file containing your entire database. Keep it somewhere safe.
Copy as Markdown — a task or a note copies to your clipboard as clean Markdown, and a note can be downloaded as a Markdown file.

Notes keep earlier versions. Open History on a note to preview an older version and restore it.

Everything is exported from your local database — no server round-trips, no surprises.
